Our Sunday service is a time for our whole church family to come together to worship Jesus, hear God’s Word, pray, and encourage one another.
You don’t need to know anyone before you arrive. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Just come as you are.
What Can I Expect?
Worship
We gather together to worship God through music, prayer, and the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Our worship is an important part of who we are as a church.
The Word
Each Sunday we open God’s Word and seek to understand how it speaks to our lives today. Our desire is not simply to hear a message, but to grow in our relationship with Jesus and live out what we believe.
Community
New Song is more than a place to attend on Sunday morning. We are a church family. You’ll find people from different generations and backgrounds who are learning, serving, praying, and growing together.
For Your Family
We want the whole family to feel welcome at New Song. Our children’s ministry provides opportunities for children to learn about Jesus and grow in their faith in an age-appropriate environment. KID’S CHURCH YOUTH
Nursery and Pre-School
Our main building has a Nursery and Pre-school wing. There are screens with a live feed of the service, and a private nursing room that also has a live feed of the service.
The pre-school class is for 2-3 year-olds. Children under 24 months can sometimes join with a parent present.
Our next age group, Pre-k and K (generally 4-5 year-olds) has a class in our community center.
A Few Things You May Be Wondering
Where do I go when I arrive?
Our parking lot entrances on are Rusell Street and Sacramento Street. The main entrance to the church is under the breezeway at the parking lot Russell Street entrance.
What about my children?
We have kid’s church every Sunday starting at the same time as our Sunday service. Doors open for kid’s at 9:50am. Come into the foyer of our main building to the Kid’s church check-in station. A volunteer or usher will help you to sign up new children. Kid’s church lasts until the children are picked up by their parents at the end of church service.
How long is the Sunday service?
Our Sunday services start at 10am and finish between 11:30 and 11:45. Kid’s church remains active even if the church service goes a little long.
What happens after the service?
Every Sunday we have a time for connection and fellowship over light refreshments including, coffee, tea and often some snacks.

Parking Information
We have two parking lots on our campus. Our main entrance is the first driveway after you turn from Martin Luther King BLVD on the South side of Russell Street. This lot has room for 68 of passenger cars
Our second lot is the next driveway down Russell Street along side our community center. This lot has a capacity for 25 of passenger cars
We also have an agreement with Multnomah Library to use their Russell Street Lot (located on the North side of Russell Street 1/2 block to the West) on weekends.
